In 1997 Jerry Zaiden joined forces with Jason Campbell to form Camburg Engineering, a company that provides products and services to elite off-road racing teams. Today, Camburg Engineering is the leader in off-road suspension systems. But the duo knew they needed to take their business to the next level so they formed a race team and began racing a 1600 buggy in the local Southern California deserts. Zaiden then made the move to SCORE and BITD and finished second overall during his 2007 BITD campaign. Zaiden was also named rookie-of-the-year that same year. Zaiden, along with Campbell and Jerry Whelchel, will continue to race in BITD and SCORE events this year.
