General Tire is sponsoring the Baja Pits for the 2008 off-road season. Baja Pits A.C. is a non-profit corporation providing expert contract pit services to Privateer Desert Racers and Teams for most races in Baja California and some in the Southwestern United States. The sponsorship is the latest part of General Tire’s invasion into off-road competition, and the company is supporting the off-road racing community to enhance the debut of the General Grabber™ competition tire.“These tires can stand up to any kind of desert racing terrain,” Roffler said. “We are confident that these tires will make the off-road racing community sit up and take notice.”
The Grabber competition tires are designed in size 37x 12.50R17 for class 1, 7S, 7 unlimited, 8 and trophy truck.
