GENERAL TIRE NAMED OFFICIAL TIRE OF OFF-ROAD WORLD SERIES 

CHARLOTTE, NC – (May 19, 2008) – General Tire is partnering with Team Lucas and will be the official tire of the Lucas Oil World Series of Off-Road Racing (WSORR) for the 2008 season and beyond.  The Series races off-road trucks and buggies in front of live spectator audiences throughout the Midwest, and is shown nationally on SPEED Channel.  General Tire is one of the premier sponsors for Team Lucas, which produces WSORR, and this sponsorship extends General Tire’s exposure to the growing off-road racing market in the U.S.  Team Lucas is a sponsor “package” that provides marketing and exposure opportunities across several Lucas Oil Products properties, ranging from the NFL Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis to powerboat racing and tractor pulls, among others.   “We are excited to introduce the General Tire brand to the Lucas Oil World Series of Off-Road Racing.
