7/18 - Mikey and Andy took 5th position overall in the 2009 Bullrun.  Great Job!

7/16 6:06 pm est - Mikey and Andy took 3rd position at the final stage for today!!!  Great Job!!

7/16 - 4:16 pm est -After the first check in Mikey took his Subaru on the drag stip and landed the 4th fastest time and fastest reaction time of .03.  Time on the 8th mile 7.91. 

7/16 - 2:59 pm est - Mikeyand Andy checked in 5th today!!!!!! We are so excited!  Good job guys! 1st stop of the day

7/16 - It is back on!  Mikey and Andy are heading to Irvington, AL.  With a police escort.

7/15 All the cars in the bullrun have been pulled over alot today.  They are now in Destin, FL.  The Bullrun just canceled the last stage today because about 10 cops are waiting outside town to give out tickets.

7/15 8:45 am est - Mikey and Andy are on their way to Slocom Alabama.

7/14 3:17 pm est - On they way to Atlanta

7/14 1:25 pm est - Talladega - 10th position

7/13 8:45 am est - They are just leaving on their way to Makers Mark Distillery in Loretto, KY  461 miles today.

7/12 10:00 pm est - Mikey finished 3rd overall!!!!!

7/12 - 1:00 pm est - They are on their way to Thunder Canyon Raceway in West Virgina.  Andy is doing a great job navigating and of course our boy Mikey is doing a solid job driving!  Check twitter for details on the next stop.

7/12 - 12:00 pm est- Mikey is staging in a parking garage to avoid the police.  Most of the leaders have received tickets. 

7/11 - 9:30 pm est - Mikey took 5th place in todays bull run.  All the leaders received tickets but he did not.  A fake CHP car (participant in the bullrun) did try to pull him over but he out ran him.  Way to go Mikey!  He is doing awesome.  The race begins at 12:00 pm est.. Sunday. Stay tuned!

7/11 - 9:00 a.m. - Mikey is at staging getting ready to go. 

FORT MILL, SC – Mikey Childress will represent Team General Tire in the 2009 Bullrun Rally.  Kicking off July 10, 2009 in New York City, racers will take off on a seven-day automotive rally and cross-country party that ends July 17th in Austin, TX. Click here to track the event.

Some 100 celebrities and car-heads take part in the “luxury lifestyle” rally event.  The remaining rally locations over the 7 days remain a mystery but Bullrunners can expect to swing by some incredible cities on their way, with a party each night when they reach the day’s destination.

“The Bullrun is one of the most glamorous rally events, combining bona fide racers with celebrities and drivers from around the world,” said Dana Zamalloa, manager of public relations and communications, General Tire.  “Mikey is an incredible racer, and we know he’ll represent Team General Tire well at this event.’”
