Biography

Following a win at the Baja 1000 in the motorcycle class, and two wins at the Baja 500 in the same class, Marc Burnett traded in his motorcycle for a Ford Ranger.  The Chula Vista, California-resident made a seamless transition to four wheels and quickly found himself atop the podium.  In 2008 Burnett scored his first Baja 1000 win in a truck in Class 6 in addition to finishing third in the Moore Series and claiming the title of SCORE champion.  Burnett’s 2009 accolades include a win at the San Felipe 250, third-place finish at the Baja 1000, and second-place finish in the overall SCORE championship.  In 2011, Burnett was in championship form winning the Baja 500 and overcoming a broken collar bone to finish second at the rigorous Baja 1000 but came up just shy of the SCORE championship finishing second.  Fully healed from his injury, Burnett is ready to tackle 2012 with a vengeance while continuing to manage his ever-popular Boost Mobile Monster Energy Tour.
